REMEMBERING 2025
This page reflects ministry moments and milestones from 2025—
a year of discernment, growth, and presence.

January - June
oN JAN 4TH, Women gathered for a time of fellowship, coming together to connect and share before diving into the Wordless Prayer book study. This gathering provided a warm and inviting atmosphere, fostering relationships and spiritual growth among participants. It was an enriching experience that set the stage for deeper exploration of the upcoming study.

Feb 4TH marked my second time serving at Hymns and Gems for Him. This time of service holds deep meaning for me as a worship leader. It is a sacred space where history, faith, and music come together to honor the legacy, resilience, and spiritual heritage of the Black community. Participating in this gathering is both a privilege and a calling—an opportunity to lead worship that remembers where we’ve been, celebrates who we are, and gives thanks for God’s sustaining presence through every generation.
From JaN 8 through Mar 9, like-minded women (FROM STATE TO STATE), gathered weekly online for a meaningful time of prayer and connection. This study offered an opportunity to deepen their understanding of intercession while building strong, supportive relationships with one another.

FROM APR 3RD THROUGH JUN 5TH, women gathered (BI-WEEKLY) for a book study dedicated to prayer, reflection, and connection. This allowed participants to delve into the biblical story of Deborah, fostering both spiritual growth and meaningful relationships. Together, they explored lessons from Deborah's life, inspiring one another in their faith journey. It was a time of learning and community, strengthening bonds, and deepening understanding.
ON JUN 7TH, women from the study and beyond came together to break bread, fellowship, pray, and experience healing. This gathering created a nurturing space for sharing stories, encouraging one another, and cultivating deep connection, spiritual growth, and renewal.

As a Chaplain, one of the most important lessons I've learned is the value of listening to my body and prioritizing rest. This past June, I took a much-needed break from all ministry work and joined a women's small group at a local church. This time away not only rejuvenated my spirit but also reminded me of the importance of community
and self-care.
