About the Author
Steph D. Clark is a multidisciplinary artist, songwriter, and seminary-educated ordained minister whose work blends creativity with care for the soul. For more than twenty years, her songs and writings have carried themes of resilience, sacred honesty, and compassionate presence. Drawing from prayer, lived experience, and deep spiritual grounding, she uses art, words, and music to create spaces that encourage rest, reflection, and renewal.
The heart of Steph’s work is grounded in her understanding of inspiration as “breath”—a gentle, life-giving movement that awakens courage, hope, and clarity. Through visual art, original songs, and a wide range of creative expressions, she invites others to slow down, breathe deeply, and reconnect with what is sacred, honest, and life-giving. Her work reflects a desire to breathe life, courage, spirit, and hope into others through the gifts she has been given.
As a chaplain, Steph serves through the ministry of presence—offering deep listening, quiet companionship, and attentive care during vulnerable moments. Walking with individuals through seasons of grief, uncertainty, and transformation has deepened her understanding of healing, resilience, and spiritual renewal. These truths echo throughout her creative expression as she uses art as a ministry of healing, welcoming people of all backgrounds to encounter clarity, peace, and restoration through creative reflection.
Whether she is drawing, writing, singing, or offering compassionate support, Steph intends to encourage emotional clarity, spiritual restoration, and deeper self-connection.
In addition to her creative work, Steph also serves in professional and ministry roles rooted in chaplaincy and spiritual care. For professional background and ministry credentials, you may visit her About page.
